Chair of Hedera Council
Hedera Council also has an independent Chair, elected for two years, separate from the board who oversees Council operations and provides an additional layer of governance.
Hedera Committees
Committees enable Hedera Council members to leverage their specialized expertise, provide focused oversight and contribute to key decisions. Committee members are selected through an annual election process conducted by Hedera Council, ensuring that leadership remains aligned with the network's evolving needs.
Technical Steering & Product
Monitors and provides guidance on the functionality, stability, and security of the Hedera network's technology and roadmap.
