Hedera Council is made up of up to 39 Fortune 500 and global organizations who govern the public network and steer its strategic direction. These world-leading institutions validate nodes, participate in committees and approve technology changes.

Strategic Partner

Strategic Partnership offers support for use case development and participation in open sessions of Hedera Council meetings, along with numerous marketing opportunities. There are up to 45 seats, each with three-year term limits and one renewal.

Community Partner

Community Partnership includes 50+ seats with one-year term limits and the opportunity for annual renewal, as well as invitations to participate in working groups and select marketing initiatives to raise visibility.

Positive industry reputation
A strong interest in tokenization, sustainability and using blockchain to solve real-world problems

In addition, candidates must meet all of the following:

Candidate can meaningfully contribute to the success of the Hedera network
Executive-level engagement
Positive industry reputation

As well as one of the following:

Candidate is on the Forbes Global 2000 list or is a private company that would qualify based on the criteria used for compiling the Forbes Global 2000 list
Candidate is ranked as a top 10 university (lists provided upon submission)

What Hedera Council seeks in Strategic Partners:

Large fintechs, enterprise service providers, industry associations or think tanks
High value use cases already being built on Hedera or mature plans strategic to the Hedera network, such as AI, tokenization, supply chain, sustainability, or identity
Current ecosystem service provider

In addition, candidates must meet one of the following:

$100m in revenue, funding, or assets
100 employees

What Hedera Council seeks in Community Partners:

Start ups, established Systems Integrator partners, community or advocacy organizations
An existing use case that brings value to the Hedera network, such as AI, tokenization, supply chain, sustainability, or identity
Current ecosystem service provider
